Jacob Liddle - Founder/CEO/Head of Grocery/The OG Jiddler
Hello, my name is Jacob Liddle, otherwise known as the Jiddler, and I'm the founder of Jiddler's Tipple! We are a multi-award-winning craft beer business based in North London.
I've always loved cooking and sharing good food and drink with others. I first started experimenting in the kitchen at the age of 9, cooking for my family on a regular basis. When I discovered homebrewing in 2017, I immediately fell in love. With my background in Mechanical Engineering and my love of flavour, food and drink, brewing quickly became an obsessive passion. It's a beautiful combination of art and science, essentially being very technical and detail orientated form of cooking that also produces alcohol at the end (winning!).
I'd always wanted to start a business in the food and drink space. I'd also noticed there was a distinct lack of really tasty beers below 4%. So, as I was homebrewing, an idea started to form in my head...
I refined one of my favourite recipes and went to a brewery and asked them to brew me a batch of beer. I said to myself, "if I can sell this, great, I'll buy some more. If I can't, I am sure I can find some willing friends and family to drink a batch of beer!".
I launched Jiddlers Tipple in October 2019 at Alexandra Palace with one beer - our flagship, best-seller Everyday Pale Ale. Luckily for me, people really liked the beer and the brand, and it grew arms and legs over the coming months and years. I managed to quit my other job and go full-time "beer baron" in February 2022.
As well as running Jiddler's Tipple, I am a certified Beer Sommelier, BJCP Beer Judge and passionate foodie! I have regularly featured on Sunday Brunch and judged at dozens of beer competitions including the World Beer Awards, Great Taste Awards, London Beer Competition, International Beer Competition and Great British Food Awards.
Above all else, I love nothing more than cooking (or brewing) up a storm and sharing it with friends and family 🍻

Juicy Chug Hazy Apricot IPA - it's so drinkable, love the fruitiness without being too sweet!

Chicken wings, specifically crispy wings with buffalo sauce and a blue cheese dip

James O'Connell - Head of On Trade
Be it in hospitality or sales, my career has almost always been about great beer - so I'm delighted to be heading up the On-Trade here at Jiddler's Tipple. This company is at a truly exciting stage of the journey, and I can't wait to see where we can take it in 2025 and beyond!

Everyday Pale - This pale ale perfectly summarises our approach to beer - balanced, flavourful, and extremely quaffable at 3.8% abv.

I'm a new dad, a husband, a Thai boxer, an amateur dog handler and a barbecue enthusiast.

After a brief career as a professional athlete, Chaz decided to play on his natural ability to relate to people.
Chaz has been picking up the ropes quickly. Along with managing payroll and career development, he's also started a Jiddler's Tipple walking club every morning and afternoon. Here's a short bio.
