What's It All About?

Four questions. One page. Here's the full story.

What?

A bit of background...

My name is Jacob Liddle (The Jiddler) and this is my tipple! I've been home brewing for years in Turnpike Lane, North London. I launched Jiddler's Tipple in October 2019 with the aim of creating perfectly balanced, delicious, session strength (3.8%) craft beer, and have worked with By The Horns brewery in South London ever since to scale it up.

Every beer is dressed in a personally selected vintage shirt pattern — as easy on the eyes as it is on the taste buds.

Why?

Why Tipple?

Tipple is an old English word for an alcoholic beverage — "drink alcohol, especially habitually". We wouldn't want to condone habitual drinking, but if you are going to enjoy a few beers, it helps if they're lower in %. Also, let's be honest, Jiddler's Tipple just rolls off the tongue nicely!

Why vintage shirts?

When designing the labels, the answer clicked — a wardrobe full of awesome vintage shirts! Jiddler's Tipple is a marriage of two great passions: beer and vintage treasures.
